Done Deal
The South Fayette School District has its administrative personnel under contract for five more years.
School board members have approved a new Act 93 agreement with administrators through 2013 and a new pact with Dr. Mary Ravita, assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction and assessment.
The agreement was approved by an 8-0 vote. President William Newcomer was contacted by telephone and Leonard Fornella was not present.
Christopher Niemann, vice president, said employees conceded to make contributions to health care.
The Act 93 agreement, which covers administrative personnel including building principals and Dr. Nancy Sullivan, director of pupil personnel. was set to expire in June.
Ravita was awarded a new five-year contract, the terms of which cover July 1 through June 30, 2013.
Construction
Due to increasing enrollment and space constraints in the current elementary school, the district is studying options for performing renovations to the current school versus building a new third-through- fifth grade campus facility.

The location will be determined upon the number of persons interested in participating.
