Sue J. Abraham
of Bridgeville

Sue J. Abraham, of Bridgeville, passed away on April 22, 2008.

She was a homemaker and was the mother of Susan George, of Ansonia, Conn.; John Abraham, of Garrett Park, Md.; and Robert Abraham, of Leesburg, Va. She was the sister of Helen Ferris of Bridgeville and the late Joe Ferris and George (Midge) Ferris. She also had six grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral Home in Bridgeville (formerly Bogan-Wolf), where Trisaigon Services were held.

A service was held at St. George's Antiochian Eastern Orthodox Church in Bridgeville.

Contributions can be made to the Church Building Fund.

Andrew E. "Andy" Cubic
Pittsburgh native

Andrew E. "Andy" Cubic, 70, of Ephrata, Pa., passed away on April 23, 2008.

He and his wife, Linda L. (Gehman) Cubic, were married for 21 years.

Born in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Andrew and Alice (Leahy) Cubic Sr.

Andy had worked for F.W. Woolworth and retired from Pfaltzgraff.

He enjoyed putting puzzles together, watching sports on TV and spending time with his dog, Tasha.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his son Mark (Kim) Cubic of Indiana, grandchildren Lucas and Samantha, sisters Donna Mae Molka and Maryann (Ken) Snarey of Pittsburgh, and brothers John (Kathleen) Cubic of Pittsburgh and William (Sharon) Cubic of San Diego.

Andy was preceded in death by a son, Michael Cubic.

The funeral was at Roseboro Funeral Home in Denver, Pa. Interment was in Mellinger's Cemetery, Schoeneck.

Julia Marie (D'Orazio) Sam
Bridgeville

Julia Marie (D'Orazio) Sam, 88, of Bridgeville, passed away on April 26, 2008.

She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Sam, and the loving mother of Anita (Very Rev. Fr. Joseph) Shahda, of Houston, Texas; Michol (Richard) Kobylski of Atlanta, Ga.; Frank (Linda) Sam, of Peters Twp., and Linda (John) McCormick, of Baldwin Twp.; sister of Mary (Tony) Luisi, Dominic (Carrie) D'Orazio, Ann (Frank) Chuppetta and the late Russ, Benjamin and Joseph D'Orazio and Philomena Moss.

She was a sister-in-law of Cookie D'Orazio, sitti of Joseph, James, Tracey, Jaime, Jodie, Danielle, M. Philip, Alex and Corey. She also had three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sam was a member of St. George Ladies Society. Arrangements were handled by Warchol Funeral Home in Bridgeville.

A Trisaigon Service was held in the funeral home. A funeral service was held in St. George Orthodox Church, Bridgeville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. George Orthodox Cemetery, 610 Dewey Ave., Bridgeville, Pa. 15017.

Estelle M. (Lesjak) Aleski
South Fayette

Estelle M. (Lesjak) Aleski, 86, of South Fayette Township, passed away on April 29, 2008.

She was a retired LPN whoi worked at Kane Hospital in Scott Township, and a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army.

Mrs. Aleski was the beloved wife of the late Alfred A. Aleski; loving mother of Rick (Cindy) Aleski, of Cecil Township and David (Carol) Aleski, of Cranberry Township; cherished grandmother of Joan (Denny) Buyan, Ruth Ann Casey, Michael Aleski, Dana Aleski, Heather (Scott) Hendershot and Adam Feige; great-grandmother of Rebecca and Savannah Casey and Carter and Brynn Hendershot; and sister of Harry Lesjak and the late John, Iggy, Joe and George Lesjak.

Arrangements were handled by Warchol Funeral Home in Bridgeville. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Holy Child Parish, Bridgeville.
