I just heard about this and was shocked. As a father who's son went through the SF school system it is no surprise.
After all this is the school district that built a huge beautiful stadium for soocer and football and one of the reasons was to be able to get WPIAL Championship games played at South Fayette but they forgot to put in enough seats to quailify to host these games. A huge score board that still has no advertisers and last but not least the baseball field built on fill that colapsed a few years back and still has not been fixed. Fired coach Plack for having a winning program only to get the same record the next year.
How are the varsity programs supposed to coordinate with the township teams so like the football team would be working out of the same playbook?
I guess the school district needs more parents like the Manons to pay $30,000 to have a wrestling progam for their son to wrestle.
Solution, don't give Dr Hippert a new contract and then have the new Superintendent fire Farkus and get a true athletic director and start over. They have all ready ruined who knows how many students sports careers.
