Charles A. Ludlam
of South Fayette

Charles A. Ludlam, of South Fayette, passed away on May 5, 2008.

He was a U.S. Postal Service employee for 33 years, a member of the United States Army Signal Corps, and a life-long member of the Bridgeville Methodist Church.

Mr. Ludlam was the beloved son of the late Nell and Alex Ludlam and the beloved nephew of Paul, Howard, Richard and Donald Chappel, and of the late George, Raymond, Harry, James and Hayes Chappel. He had numerous aunts and cousins.

He was also a member of the SNPJ Lodge and the Chartiers Valley Dart Ball League, and an avid bowler, Pirates and Penguins fan.

Arrangements were handled by the Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral Home in Bridgeville, where a service was held. Interment was at Jefferson Memorial Park.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the church, 244 Station St., Bridgeville, 15017.

William R. Steigerwald
Scott Township

William R. Steigerwald, of Scott Township, passed away on May 4, 2008.

He was the beloved husband of Kathryn Hatch Steigerwald; father of William, John, Mary, Paul and Daniel Steigerwald; and brother of Jack, Wendel and the late Al and Elizabeth Steigerwald. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Private service and interment were in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Memorials can be made to Doctors Without Borders, 333 7th Ave. 2nd Floor New York, N.Y. 10001-5054.

Arrangements were handled by Laughlin's.
